This body of works was inspired by some of my old memories,

I was born in a water village in southeast China, where used to be thousands of small ponds and rivers. People lived near the water, everything was related to water. Including Art, in the practice of traditional Chinese calligraphy, ink and meticulous painting, it is almost like treat one’s own body as water, brush down and the water flow through the arms then connect to the pigment and the paper, so that the movement of body become a visual image.

This collection named 'InterMountain Water 模 山 范 水 ' is an ancient Chinese word, which means: Forms and methods derived from landscape life. I hope to integrate the landscape into jewelry, like the Chinese gardens, which reduces the experience of mountain and water to the details of a small place. You see whatever you see.

It's a deconstruction of jewelry, a democracy, where we stop focusing on the single most precious diamond and let our senses swim among the fluid elements.
