I turned my attention fully on art since I was a child, it was an entry point for me into many other tribes.

Melbourne is my second hometown, where I lived and did my degree of Art and Architecture Design, back then I enjoyed stay in the lab, do crafts and research new materials. After a couple of years of Interprofessional work practices as an architect, designer and curator.Ilistened to my heart , with passion of creativity and craftsmanship, Ilaunched my journey in jewellery by deciding to study design and crafting in Milan, and established the brand named “Haecceity”. I started to design flexible, fluid, transparent, democratic, spatial but wearable pieces with details by putting handcrafting at the forefront in my designs.

In 2022, As a jewellery partner, I participated in the About You Fashion Show at Milan Fashion Week and am currently continue to design and working on new projects.

Designer Statement

My original intention for creating this brand is very personal and has to do with my skin.

I have a disease called vitiligo and it started when I was 11 years old. It grew from a tiny white spot and has now transformed half of my skin. It is an immune system disorder. It affects all races, all age groups and genders, it's not contagious, it's not life-threatening, but it brings spiritual warfare, and it's very tough.

After experiencing conflicts and struggling, I slowly learned to accept myself. I start to realize I am the same as everything in the world, the texture of tree barks, the reefs by the sea, sika deer, leopards, coral reefs... If our nature allows us to appreciate the beauty of nature, I should love myself. It was my skin that taught me that imperfection is also beautiful.

It has influenced me and changed the way I saw the world, What now fascinates me the most is the forces of nature, through light, color, fluidity and texture, those seemingly imperfect, formed by the forces of nature over time, represent the mysterious connection between all things.

This is exactly what our brand wants to convey, making pure handmade jewelry that leaves traces of nature. Just as our name ‘HIC’, derived from the Latin word ‘Haecceity’ for individuality:" The property or thing by Which it is unique or describable as ‘this(one)’.
